Why Foster an ARF Dog?

Why Foster:

Fostering a dog is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have (other than adopting, of course). By providing a temporary home you're freeing up a spot so we can take in another dog in need.

What Foster Needs to Provide:

Its simple…...a loving, nurturing environment.

What ARF Provides:

ARF provides collar with ARF foster tag, leash. On an as needed basis ARF provides: dog bowls, food, wire crate. We also pay for all required vetting through our established vet relationships.

Expectations of Fosters:

Weekly updates from Fosters regarding behavior of foster dog and pictures. Foster to bring (or drop off) ARF dog to any events we have (sufficient notice is given) or make arrangements to get dog to us at the event.  Help get them to their meet n greets for potential adoptions (best that potential adopter hears first hand about the dog from the person that has him/her in their care). Take ARF dog to any potential vet or grooming appointments on an as needed basis.

Requirements to Foster:

Fosters who own pets, must have them up to date on shots and spay/neutered.

Benefits of Fostering:

Besides saving a dogs life! Before an ARF dog goes up for adoption to the public, Foster gets one week from the time of intake to adopt the dog. Foster gets an adoption discount.
